Club Competition 2024
This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting an exhilarating archery competition for our talented young archers aged 8-11. The event was packed with excitement, skill, and camaraderie as the participants showcased their abilities through a series of fun and challenging games. Our first game, “Pizza,” was a fantastic icebreaker. The archers aimed to hit different sections of a target designed like a pizza, with each section representing a different topping. Points were awarded based on accuracy and creativity. The kids had a blast aiming for their favorite toppings and comparing scores. The thrill of landing an arrow on the tandoori chicken or cheese slice kept the competition lively and entertaining. We also had ‘Pop’ where archers had to go up against a carefully selected opponent and pick a balloon to hit – the added excitement came when the balloons burst with confetti when hit. At the end of the day, everyone was a winner. Medals and trophies were awarded to recognize the outstanding performances and sportsmanship. The joy and pride on the faces of the young archers were a testament to their hard work and dedication.
